KTO Productions will hold auditions for “Molly Sweeney” by Brian Friel on Mon., Aug.10 from 7-10 (callbacks will be held Wednesday Aug. 12).

Audition Requirements: Please come prepared to deliver one monologue from contemporary dramatic literature.
Characters:
Molly – Age: Late 20s-early 40s. Blind since early infancy, she describes her world before and after an operation to restore some of her sight.
Frank – Age: Late 20s-early 40s. Molly’s husband, who pushed her into this operation, relates his view of his wife’s journey into sightedness and his dealings with her doctor.
Mr. Rice – Age: 50s. A once-famous eye surgeon who watches both Molly and Frank and reveals his opinion of them along with his own fears in handling the operation.
